RULES FOR ALL CLARITY COURSE PARTICIPATION

The Clarity Culture is a safe space.  A place where it’s okay to not know.  A place where vulnerability is allowed to find it’s feet.  A place of non-judgement.  A place where we are free to find our own answers without having others telling us what to do or how to fix ourselves.  A place that is governed by these Group Rules (that we take very seriously.

It is a sisterhood of llikeminded people sharing a journey of self-understanding.  A place where we can exercise our ability to teach others who we are without them expecting us to be anyone other than who we say we are. It is a safe place to find youself.

Respecting each person’s right to be exactly where they are in the process.

GROUP RULES

  1. The following rules are designed to honor each participant in the Clarity family of courses, and to provide a safe place for the intimate work to be done. We take therse rules seriously as a matter of protection and respect. They are non-negotiable.
  2. To Honor Privacy:  Introspection is a vulnerable thing.  Feeling safe enough to open up and get the most out of the conversation, it’s important to know that what happens in the group, stays in the group.  We must be able to trust that our engagement is private. It is also important to respect those who are not comfortable sharing themselves openly.  This is a personal journey. Each person attending has the right to participate at their own level and pace without judgement.  By agreeing to join a Clarity Course or Camp, each of us agrees to honor the privacy of the course they are taking, and each other.
  3. To Be Kind:  Each of us is on our own path.  We grow and learn at our own pace. It is possible that each of us may be triggered by something over our time together.  By agreeing to join a Clartiy Course or Camp, we agree to offer grace, kindness and patience to one another. And, to refrain from expressing frustration or judgement with other members of the cohort, should they pop up.  In this group we will be kind and courteous.
  4. To Behave Appropriately:  The Clarity in-person Camps are designed to be a fun, vacation experience, as well as a group learning environment.  It is important that we all respect each other and the work we are doing together.  That we respect the hotel, it’s other guests and property.  Any behavior that is disruptive or disrespectful will not be tolerated. This includes exessive use of alchohol or other substances, loud discussions, arguements or exuberant celebrations.  By agreeing to join a Clarity Course or Camp, each of us agree to behave appropriately throughout participation.
  5. To Be Gossip Free:  There is absolutely NO room for gossip in this group. It simply will not be tolerated. We are here to look in our own mirrors and find the beauty from within.  That beauty cannot be found while searching for fault in others.  This includes seeking agreement from others to justify or validate the gossip.  Anyone found to be gossiping in a Clarity Course, the online Clarity Community or at the In-Person Camp will be expelled without refund. Period. By agreeing to join a Clarity Course or Camp, each of us agrees to not gossip.
  6. To Not Coach Each Other:  Each of us come to the courses or camp to develop ourselves.  When we focus on others in the course, we aren’t looking at ourselves.  While discussing course material or personal insights and transformation or wins is both accepted and encouraged, sharing personal opinions about others’ participation is NOT.  There is no one in the group who needs fixing.  We are responsible for our own participation and cannot presume that we know best how others should participate.  That is up to them.  They will find their own insights and transformation.  By agreeing to join a Clarity Course or Camp, we agree to not offer unsolicited advice or coaching.
  7. To Do The Work:  Each of us came to the Course or Camp to have an impact on our lives.  In order to get the results, each of us agrees to watch the videos, read the text and do the assignments as designed, participate in group calls (or listen to recordings) and show up on site ready to participate if joining the Camp.  There is no promise of achieving results where the work is not done as designed.  By agreeing to join a Clarity Course or Camp, we agree to do the work as designed.
  8. To Submit To The Process:  For many of us, this isn’t the first time participating in personal development.  We know a thing or two.  Even so, in order to get the most out of this program, it is best to suspend prior knowing and approach this Course or Camp as if you don’t already know.  If you did already know, you would already be satisfied in that area of your life!  The best way to shut down learning is to begin with already knowing.  By agreeing to join this Course or Camp, we agree to submit to the process and start each module and conversation as if it is your first time.
  9. To Be Responsible For Ones Self:   It is important to be fully present to get the most out of the course.  Our positive physical, mental and emotional, and anyother measure of well being are essential to that.  We each understand that niether Colleen Dupont, Perspective Education, nor the hotel where the Camp may be located are responsible for the well being of participants in the Course or Camp.  Should events arise that challenge a participants well being, during the online portion of the course, they agree to seek appropriate support on their own.  Should events occur during the in-person camp, participants agree to notify our team immediately and we will facilitate them is securing the support they need.  By agreeing to join this Course or Camp, we agree to be responsible for our own well being throughout tour participation, including seeking professional mental health support if needed.
  10.
